a new year and the start of a new journey

Today is my 27th birthday and the beginning of a new and exciting year for me to look forward to! I officially got married to my best friend a little over a month ago, quit my job in Greenville, SC and moved to Charleston, SC to start a new journey with my hubby.

While I've thought about starting a blog for some time now I've finally decided to hit the floor running and go for it. During the wedding planning process I spent countless hours on blogs pouring over tons of inspiration to create the prefect dream wedding but now that it's all over with and I'm starting the next chapter in my life I'd like to begin documenting Steve and I turning our house into a HOME!

We purchased our first home together a few months ago and now that I've moved in of course I have plenty of ideas of the things I'd like to do but as many of you may know it's a never ending process.

As a graphic designer I love all types of design and plan to share the things that inspire me with you!

So while I've never been good a keeping a diary I'm challenging myself to start a blog. Let's see what happens....
